PARIS DIARY | DAY 3

The absolute must while in Paris is visiting the Eiffel tower! We went there the third day of our visit. I have always thought the tower is not that big, but come on, it is really huge and it surprised me the same as the Statue of Liberty. First we needed to come through the security control. The line was pretty long but this process went quite fast, so it wasn't that much pain. The actual line for buying tickets was much worse. We haven't bought the tickets in advance and the waiting time was approximately one hour and half. We bought tickets to the top and I suggest you to do so, the view was absolutely stunning. We spent some time there and then went to see the lower floor. The last stop was the glass floor. This whole visit of the Eiffel tower took us like five or six hours, so get yourself enough time for this visit. When you are at this area, don't forget to visit Trocadero, which provides fabulous view of the Eiffel tower and also it is a great place to take some good pictures. The sooner you come, the better pictures you will have. Then we walked like twenty minutes to the Arc de Triomph. You can go up, but we didn't. It is huge as well and in order to take a picture, you need to stand literally in the middle of the road,haha. The we walked the Champs Elysees, which is the most famous street in Paris. There is the biggest LV store I've ever seen. Also, there is a huge Sephora crowded with people. I bought there an eyeshadow palette and they engraved me my initials in it, pretty cool, but the staff was h o r r i b l e. And that was pretty much the end of the well spent third day.

Co nesmíte minout, když navštívíte Paříž, tak je určitě Eiffelovka. Vydali jsme se sem třetí den a byla jsem ráda, že byla konečně znovu otevřena. Vždycky jsem si myslela, že nebude tak veliká, ale je obrovská a překvapila mě úplně stejně, jako před lety Socha Svobody. Nejdříve jsme museli projít bezpečnostní kontrolou, než jsme se dostali do řady, kde se kupovali lístky. Ta byla mnohem delší a čkali jsme tu asi hodinu a půl, což sice bylo nepříjemné, ale bylo to lepší, než jsem očekávala. Koupili jsme si lístky až nahoru a vám doporučuji to samé. Výhled na celou Paříž byl úžasný. Z vrcholu jsme se pak zašli podívat ještě o patro níž a zakončili to patrem, kde je skleněná podlaha, tak to taky nevynechejte. Celá tahle návštěva nám trvala asi pět nebo šest hodin, takže si na to vyhraďte dostatek času, ať nemusíte spěchat. Když už se pohybujete kolem Eiffelovky, tak se také zajděte podívat na kousek vzdálené Trocadero, odkud je na ni skvělý pohled a také je to místo, kde si můžete udělat vážně dobré fotky. Potom jsme šli pěšky asi dvacet minut, kde je Vítězný oblouk. Můžete se jít podívat i nahoru, ale to jsme nešli. Pokud se před ním chcete vyfotit, musíte si doslova stoupnout doprostřed silnice, tak pozor na auta. Potom jsme se prošli po Champs Elysees, což je asi jedna z nejznámejších ulic v Paříži. Najdete tam třeba obrovský LV obchod, kde mají snad úplně všechno nebo také Sephoru, kde jsou stovky lidí a příšerná obsluha, nicméně jsem si tu koupila paletku a nechala jsem si na ni vyrýt své iniciály, tím se stala asi mou nejoblíbenější paletkou. A to byl tak nějak celý, skvěle strávený, třetí den!
